Issue: GravityView Single Entry page only shows “Leave a Reply”
If a Single Entry screen only shows a comment form titled “Leave a Reply” rather than entry data, the issue is Jetpack Comments interacting with GravityView Ratings & Reviews.
What is happening #
Jetpack Comments is taking over the GravityView entry page rendering. This is a known bug.
How to resolve the issue #
- Navigate to Jetpack menu item in your admin sidebar
- Click on the Settings submenu
- Click the Discussion tab.
- Disable “Replace the default comment form with Jetpack Comments.”
- Reload the Single Entry link on the front end.
Once this setting is disabled, GravityView will correctly render the Single Entry layout.
