How Deja Vu Studio streamlined data management for doctors and manufacturers using GravityKit

Deja Vu Studio needed a reliable way to manage complex medical data for a client in the healthcare sector. Using GravityKit, they built a flexible reporting system that allows doctors to access their own surgery logs while giving a medical equipment manufacturer the tools to track models, monitor status, and manage service reports, all within a scalable WordPress workflow.

Discovering GravityKit

Yuli has been using Gravity Forms for many years, and GravityKit had been on her radar for a while. When a client project required a data-driven reporting system based on Gravity Forms entries, GravityKit became the obvious fit.

I needed a solution that could display Gravity Forms entries on the front end and also give my client an easy way to manage and update those views. GravityKit fit both needs well, and even though I still do some custom work with GravityView to limit entry access by user role, it gives me a solid and flexible base to build on.

She chose GravityKit because it allowed her to display entries on the front end and gave her client an easy way to manage and update data without needing admin access. GravityView provided a solid and flexible base she could extend with custom logic, such as limiting entry access by user role, without unnecessary complexity.

Building with GravityKit

One project involved creating a reporting system for a medical equipment manufacturer. The solution needed to serve both doctors and the manufacturer’s internal team.

For doctors:

  • A workflow for submitting surgery report logs via Gravity Forms
  • A portal where doctors can retrieve their own reports
  • Data access that supports academic writing and ongoing clinical work

For the manufacturer:

  • Tracking equipment models and status across hospitals
  • Filing and managing service reports in a centralized system

To build the solution, Yuli used:

The result is a reliable, extensible workflow that supports both medical and operational needs.

The impact

GravityKit provided the flexibility Yuli needed to deliver a solution that was both stable and scalable. It streamlined complex workflows, made data access intuitive, and allowed her to build with confidence in environments where accuracy and consistency are essential.

Future plans

Yuli plans to use GravityKit for an upcoming project with a local funeral service organization that wants to develop a system to support the entire death-care process.

Takeaways

This case study demonstrates how GravityKit can power robust, data-centric systems across critical industries where reliability is key. By leveraging GravityKit’s suite of functionality, WordPress developers like Yuli can deliver solutions that reduce manual work, ensure information accessibility and consistency, and empower users on both the operational and professional sides.
