Can GravityMath be used inside a Gravity Forms form?
Our GravityMath plugin adds a shortcode to WordPress that allows you to perform advanced calculations on your website using Gravity Forms data. However, it can’t calculate with values while someone fills in a form. The shortcode only works with data from existing entries.
If you need the ability to perform advanced calculations inside forms, we recommend checking out Advanced Calculations by Gravity Wiz.
The [gravitymath] shortcode works on WordPress posts and pages, in widgets, inside GravityView’s Custom Content field, and in Gravity Forms confirmation messages and notification emails, where it shows the result after the form has been submitted.
The [gravitymath] shortcode can’t be used inside a calculation formula. In an HTML field it runs when the form loads, so it can show a result from earlier entries, such as a total, but it doesn’t change as someone fills in the form.
