This week sees tighter integration between the GravityView Maps and DataTables layouts, along with improved navigation behavior. GravityEdit also gains support for the Multiple Choice field. Rest assured, there were no breaking changes this week—unless you count our developers’ coffee machines!
GravityEdit 2.6.0
This update adds support for editing Multiple Choice field values in Gravity Forms 2.9 and later. It also resolves an issue where exported View entries contained unintended HTML markup.
- Added support for editing Multiple Choice field values (Gravity Forms 2.9+).
- Fixed an issue where field values were wrapped in GravityEdit-specific HTML markup when exporting View entries using the Export widget.
- Updated Foundation to version 1.6.0.
GravityView – Maps Layout 3.5.0
The Maps Layout now integrates with the DataTables Layout, allowing synchronized interaction between the map and table views. In other words, when you scroll the map, the table will update, and when you filter your table, the map will update! Navigation between single and multiple entries has also been refined to preserve map state and URL parameters.
- Added compatibility with the DataTables Layout in server-side processing mode, keeping the Multiple Entries Map widget and table synchronized in both directions.
- Improved the back link on the Single Entry layout with the Map view type to preserve URL query parameters when returning to the Multiple Entries layout.
- Updated Foundation to version 1.6.0.
In summary
The GravityView Maps Layout now syncs with DataTables and preserves map state on back click, while GravityEdit adds Multiple Choice field support and cleaner exports. Both now run on Foundation 1.6.0 for better stability and consistency.
