How do you throw a party in space? You planet!
All right, I’ll show myself out. But before I do, let’s dive into this week’s Launch Log—it’s a doozy.
This week’s updates focus on improving stability and expanding flexibility across GravityKit products. Highlights include new field and content source support in Gravity Forms Dynamic Lookup, improved reliability in GravityMigrate, bug fixes in several GravityView layouts and extensions, and of course, our brand-new Advanced Elementor Widget for GravityView!
Advanced Elementor Widget – New release!
The Advanced Elementor Widget brings together GravityView’s powerful data display capabilities with Elementor’s intuitive design tools, giving you complete visual control over every aspect of your Views, without needing code!
This was such a big release that it deserved its own blog post! Have a read to learn about all the neat features in this new widget, along with our plans for additional page builder support.
Gravity Forms Dynamic Lookup 1.2.0
Version 1.2.0 adds support for additional Gravity Forms field types and WordPress content sources, along with improvements to how Dynamic Lookup fields appear in GravityView’s Search Bar.
- Added support for Name, Address, Date, Time, and Number fields.
- Added the ability to use WordPress posts, pages, and custom post types as lookup sources.
- Lookup fields in GravityView’s Search Bar can now be displayed as Select, Multi-select, Radio, Checkbox, or Link inputs instead of being limited to text input.
GravityMigrate 1.1.4
Version 1.1.4 resolves multiple issues affecting export and import reliability and includes one new developer filter.
- Forms in the Trash were incorrectly shown in the Export Forms list.
- Forms were being eagerly loaded on unrelated requests.
- “Uploads & Files” were inaccessible when the source site used redirects (for example,
HTTPtoHTTPS). - PHP error “Undefined array key 0” when a database query returned no results during import.
- Source URL accessibility check now falls back to a
GETrequest if aHEADrequest returns400or405. - Broken export file links when WordPress used remote storage (for example, Amazon S3).
Developer updates
- Added
gk/gravitymigrate/remote-request-argsfilter to modify arguments for remote HEAD and GET requests when checking source URL accessibility.
GravityView – DataTables Layout 3.6.1
Version 3.6.1 fixes incorrect footer totals when using GravityMath with client-side processing. Footer calculations for fields configured to include all View entries only counted entries visible on the current page.
GravityView – Ratings & Reviews 2.5.3
Version 2.5.3 corrects an issue affecting review upvote sorting that produced incorrect entry order.
In summary
This week’s product updates enhance data accuracy and usability across the GravityKit suite, with expanded lookup capabilities in forms, more reliable data migration, and improved consistency in table and review displays. Not to mention, a new Elementor integration that marks the first step in our plan to integrate GravityView with all major page builders (Divi and Beaver Builder are next!).
