We’re excited to announce the release of GravityEdit 1.8! This latest update includes a number of highly requested features, as well as some all-important fixes and improvements.

In GravityEdit 1.8 you’ll find the ability to edit File Upload fields and entry meta, full integration with the Gravity Forms User Registration add-on, and more. Keep reading as we unpack the full release below.

Inline editing for File Upload fields

We’re pleased to announce that GravityEdit now supports File Upload fields. And yes, multi-file uploads are also supported!

This enables to you update the contents of a File Upload field inline (i.e., without having to click “edit” on the entry in Gravity Forms). Here’s a quick video demo of how it works…

Support for entry meta data

Every form entry in Gravity Forms has meta data associated with it. Entry meta data is custom data that’s stored and retrieved along with the entry object. This includes the entry date, the user who submitted the entry, the payment status (if applicable), and more.

GravityEdit now allows you to update this data easily, just as if you were editing a regular form field. Take a look below!

Integration with the Gravity Forms User Registration add-on

GravityEdit 1.8 includes full integration with the Gravity Forms User Registration add-on (a popular add-on that allows you to register new WordPress users when they fill out a form on your site).

Now, when you update entry fields using GravityEdit, these changes will be reflected in the user’s WordPress profile!

GravityEdit 1.8 sees the addition of several highly requested features, including inline edit support for File Upload and entry meta fields, as well as full integration with the User Registration add-on!
