This week, the GravityView Search Bar gets a Slider, and AI assistants can now manage your calendars in GravityCalendar. We've also got the replay from our recent Live, where we demoed Live Filters and Connected Views for GravityView Pro. But first up, a small favor to ask: voting for The WP Awards is open, and if GravityKit has helped you, please consider voting for us.

🏆 THE WP AWARDS 2026
If GravityKit has helped you, we'd love your vote
The WP Awards, run by The WP Weekly, are voted on by the WordPress community, and voting is open until November 30. Five GravityKit products are nominated: GravityView (Dynamic Data Plugins), GravityExport (Content & Output Tools), GravityBoard (WP Agency Tools), GravityCalendar (Events, Booking, & Planning Plugins), and Block MCP (AI Tools).
How to vote: pick one product in each category you want to vote in. You can vote in as many or as few categories as you like, with one vote per email address.
Display Gravity Forms entries on the front-end of your site and build powerful web applications.
GravityView 3.9.0 adds a Slider input type to the Search Bar for Number, Quantity, and Total fields. Visitors drag a handle, or type a value, to search by a minimum, a maximum, or both.

The release also adds four modifiers to the {get} merge tag, mostly for links. :urlencode keeps a search like "Research & Development" whole when you pass it on in a link, instead of cutting it off at the "&", and :esc_url makes a web address from the page safe to link to.
3.9.0 also includes several security fixes, so we recommend updating soon.
GravityCalendar
Turn Gravity Forms entries into dynamic calendars to showcase events, schedules, appointments, and more.
GravityCalendar 2.26.0 lets AI assistants connected through the GravityKit MCP work with your calendars. Ask your assistant to create a calendar, change its settings, list a calendar's events, or move an event to another day, and it does the job within what the account it signs in with is allowed to do. Read Building calendars with AI using the GravityKit MCP to see how it works.
Also, calendars on the same page as their form now show a new entry as soon as the form is submitted with AJAX, without a page reload.
These updates are part of our latest round of releases, which also includes updates to GravityMath, GravityCharts, GravityEdit, GravityExport, GravityMigrate, the Advanced Elementor Widget, and more.
On Tuesday, we hosted our October edition of GravityKit Live! Thank you to everyone who tuned in live, and for all the excellent questions you submitted.
We demoed Visual Merge Tags and GravityMigrate 2.0, then gave a first look at two features coming to GravityView Pro: Live Filters and Connected Views. The Q&A covered whether GravityView Pro is part of the All Access Pass and our plans for GravityView core and its extensions.
Why AI agents stall on WordPress's official MCP route
Andy Peatling has launched WordPress Agent Benchmarks, an open source project that tests how AI agents handle WordPress. The first results, reported by The Repository on October 22, are stark. Asked to make 21 everyday changes to a WordPress site, Claude Code and Codex completed 79% of them with an application password and the REST API, and none through the official MCP Adapter.
The adapter can only offer agents the abilities a site registers, and WordPress core ships just three today, all read-only. In one test, an agent asked to take a former committee member off a sailing club's site told the owner to look for a setting that doesn't exist. By Peatling's numbers, core write abilities for pages, posts, and settings, plus one for media uploads, would take the adapter from 3 of 21 tasks to 17.
Core is moving, slowly. WordPress 7.2 Beta 1 landed on October 20 with a wider Abilities API and a new Secrets API, a standard place for plugins to store API keys, ahead of the December 8 release. Its three new core abilities are read-only too, so for now plugins fill the gap: GravityCalendar registered eight abilities this week. If you're putting agents to work on client sites, check which abilities your plugins register before you connect one.
Volunteer databases, member directories, client portals, and grant review queues: this roundup covers nine tools nonprofits build from the form data they already collect. Each one links to a full walkthrough and a real organization running it, from Support Redditch to Think:Kids.
Moving from Fluent Forms to Gravity Forms used to mean building every form again by hand. This guide shows how GravityMigrate recreates your forms in Gravity Forms, with their conditional logic and notifications, and how GravityImport brings the entries across.
