Advanced Elementor Widget Changelog

This release fixes widgets in nested layouts as well as several style settings that weren't being properly applied. The widget adds support for GravityView 3.8.0's "When Search Value is empty" setting, entry locking when using Edit Entry, and improves security. We recommend updating.

🔒 Security

• Users who can edit a page in Elementor can no longer turn on Edit Entry, Delete Entry or Duplicate Entry for a View that does not allow them.
• Search settings from the core GravityView Elementor widget are now kept when this add-on is active.
• DataTables Views in the widget now keep their search settings when the table loads. This requires GravityView 3.8.0 or newer.

✨ Improved

• "Customize View Settings" now includes the "When Search Value is empty" setting, and new widgets start at "Show no entries". This needs GravityView 3.8.0 or newer.

🐛 Fixed

• Issues with widgets placed inside a column, an inner container, or any section after the first:
  • An Undefined array key "widgetType" PHP warning logged on every page load;
  • With two widgets on one page, clicking an entry opened it in both Views;
  • Edit Entry did not lock the entry, so two people could edit it at once.
• The Layout Builder "Row Background Color" setting now colors the row background instead of the text.
• Single Entry style settings now apply to Field Values and Value Border in List and DIY layouts, and to the Layout Builder container.
• DIY layout Multiple Entries style settings no longer change Single Entry pages.
• The Field Links "Typography" setting now styles only links inside the widget.
