Our docs have moved (and got a lot better!)
GravityKit documentation now lives at gravitykit.com/docs. Old docs.gravitykit.com links redirect automatically, so nothing breaks on your end.
What's new:
Algolia-powered search – type a misspelled hook or a plain-English question and you'll actually find the article.
Sticky table of contents on long articles – jump straight to the section you need.
Easier navigation – a dedicated docs menu, breadcrumbs, and a related-articles sidebar so you can move between topics without bouncing back to search.
One site to bookmark – docs, blog, product pages, and your account all in one place.
We also put intentional work into making docs read well for humans and AI assistants. If you use Claude, ChatGPT, or Cursor when building with GravityKit, you should notice cleaner structure and more predictable URLs.
🌟 PRODUCT SPOTLIGHT
GravityBoard
Display Gravity Forms entries on collaborative kanban boards: manage projects, coordinate with your team, and streamline your workflows.
GravityBoard 1.4.0 introduced card voting. If you run an ideas board, a feature-request tracker, or any board where input from your team or community matters, this one's for you!
Cards support upvote and downvote buttons out of the box, and you can pace participation with per-user vote budgets. Voting can also be scoped to specific lanes, so you can enable it for certain statuses, and keep others read-only. For idea boards where a thumbs-down feels wrong, there's an upvote-only mode that hides the downvote button entirely.
Voting integrates directly with GravityView, too. A new Entry Voting field renders the interactive widget in any layout, Votes Count shows a sortable read-only count, and a Voted By Advanced Filter targets entries the logged-in user has voted on—ideal for "My Voted Ideas" Views. New merge tags let you pull vote data into any Gravity Forms notification.
These updates are part of our latest round of releases, which also includes updates to GravityCalendar, GravityView, and other plugins.
One command wires up Claude Code (or Gemini CLI) to a browser-based Playground instance!
Open Playground in a browser tab, and your agent can now read and write files, execute PHP, install plugins, and drive the whole site through conversation. The connection is a WebSocket between your terminal and the browser tab, so everything stays on your machine—no Docker, no local WP install, nothing touching production.
This is the frictionless way to pair an AI agent with WordPress for the kind of work you'd normally spin up a staging site for: plugin testing, theme scaffolding, debugging a weird filter interaction. Describe what you want, and the agent runs the PHP.
Canny is a great way to collect feature requests… until the bill arrives! Pricing scales by tracked user, your roadmap lives on a separate subdomain, and your customer data sits on someone else’s infrastructure. In this tutorial, Casey shows you how to build a self-hosted Canny alternative on your WordPress site using Gravity Forms and GravityBoard. By the end, you’ll have a public/internal feedback board running entirely under your own domain.
