GravityKit turns 12 on July 24. What began in 2014 as a single plugin for displaying Gravity Forms entries is now a full suite of no-code tools running on more than 60,000 websites. None of that happens without the people who build with us, so thank you.

Here's a look back at what we shipped this last year, what our customers built, and where we're headed next. And because a birthday deserves a gift, we're running a sale as well!

## GravityKit's 12th birthday sale

To mark 12 years of GravityKit, we're offering [30% off Lifetime All Access Pass](/birthday-sale/) from July 23 to July 28. One payment gets you every GravityKit product, plus everything we release in the future, with no renewals ever. The discount is applied for you at checkout, or you can enter the code `BIRTHDAY30`. We rarely offer Lifetime All Access, let alone put it on sale, so now's your opportunity to own the entire GravityKit suite with lifetime updates.

## Highlights from the past year

### GravityView 3.0: the biggest release yet

In June we shipped [GravityView 3.0](https://www.gravitykit.com/announcing-gravityview-3-0/), the largest update in the product's history. It includes an under-the-hood refactor to optimize performance, and several highly requested features that make it easier to style, build, and enhance your Views:

- [New Vantage theme](https://www.gravitykit.com/docs/gravityview/view-settings/modern-styles/) – Views adapt to your site's own fonts and colors and lay out as a responsive card grid, with no custom CSS to write.
- [Native page-builder modules](https://www.gravitykit.com/docs/gravityview/getting-started-gravityview/page-builder-support/) – build and place Views visually in Elementor, Divi, and Beaver Builder instead of copying shortcodes.
- [Front-end bulk actions](https://www.gravitykit.com/docs/gravityview/getting-started-gravityview/frontend-bulk-actions/) – approve, edit, delete, and export entries straight from the front end.
- [AI-assisted View creation](https://www.gravitykit.com/docs/gravityview/advanced/build-views-with-ai/) – describe the View you want and have it built for you (more on that below).
- View revision history – see past versions of a View and restore them with one click.

### GravitySearch: find any entry, across every form

In June we also launched [GravitySearch](https://www.gravitykit.com/products/gravitysearch/), a brand-new add-on that solves a problem anyone with more than a few forms knows well: finding a single entry when you are not sure which form it lives in. GravitySearch runs one query across every form from a single screen and shows you exactly which field matched.

- A visual AND/OR filter builder for narrowing results, with nestable conditions.
- An inline preview pane so you can read an entry without leaving the search.
- Bulk actions to mark read, star, or trash results in place.
- Shareable, bookmarkable searches, so a saved query is just a URL.

### Verified, tamper-proof updates

This year, we were the first WordPress plugin developer to add [cryptographic code signing](https://www.gravitykit.com/a-stronger-reason-to-trust-what-you-install/) to every release. Every product install and update now ships with a digital signature (using the Ed25519 algorithm), and we verify it before WordPress unpacks the file. If a package has been altered, even by a single byte, the install is blocked. It runs automatically in the background, with nothing to configure, and once one product updates, the protection extends to every GravityKit product on the site.

With supply-chain attacks increasingly reaching the WordPress ecosystem through official update channels, code signing gives you [a stronger reason to trust what you install](https://www.gravitykit.com/a-stronger-reason-to-trust-what-you-install/). And it's not stopping with us: several plugin companies have shown interest, and [PublishPress and MetaSlider](https://www.linkedin.com/posts/steveburge_this-week-our-team-just-removed-the-last-share-7482865372262551552-rezR/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_desktop&rcm=ACoAACcW2lwBUWb9kBwESb0Ezh2wbPqp1JKC_Bs) have already added signing of their own. We hope many more follow.

### The year we went AI-native

This year GravityKit leaned into AI in a way that is genuinely useful rather than bolted on. Two free tools lead the way:

- [GravityKit MCP](https://www.gravitykit.com/mcp/) lets an AI assistant like Claude manage Gravity Forms and build GravityView Views for you through plain conversation.
- [Block MCP](https://www.gravitykit.com/products/block-mcp/), now a free WordPress plugin, lets AI agents edit your WordPress content block by block while keeping your layout intact.

GravityKit MCP's View building runs on the new WordPress Abilities API, the same foundation behind GravityView 3.0's AI-assisted View creation. The short version: you can now describe what you want in your own words and watch it get built.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dR3HazT0oYM We also rebuilt our documentation for a world where both people and AI assistants read it. All of our help docs now live on the main site at [gravitykit.com/docs](https://www.gravitykit.com/docs/), and adding `.md` to any doc URL returns a clean markdown version that an assistant can parse in a single request.

For developers we went further. We launched [gravitykit.dev](https://www.gravitykit.dev/), a dedicated developer documentation site that covers hooks, PHP APIs, compatibility details, and GravityView 3.0's CSS design tokens across the whole suite. And we paired it with a developer docs [MCP server](https://mcp.gravitykit.dev/). If you have ever watched an AI assistant confidently invent a hook that does not exist, this fixes exactly that: it hands your assistant the real, current GravityKit hooks, signatures, and version requirements instead of guesses.

### Across the Kit

The headliners get the spotlight, but the real story of the year is steady, weekly shipping. Since our [Launch Log](https://www.gravitykit.com/tag/launch-log/) (the name for our weekly roundup of GravityKit product updates) began last year in October, we have published more than 30 rounds of updates. A few of them:

- GravityExport – added Box.com and Gravity Flow support, scheduled exports, chunked exports for large data sets, and accessibility upgrades to the free Lite version.
- GravityCalendar – gained conditional logic and expanded calendar feed options.
- Zero Spam – added AI-powered spam review, multilingual support, and per-address email rejection rules.
- Maps – picked up 3D map enhancements and distance-based sorting for radius searches.
- GravityBoard – our kanban board for entries reached v1.2 and added voting and conditional logic.
- DataTables, Magic Links, and Advanced Filtering – shipped a stream of search, sorting, and filtering improvements.
- WordPress 6.9 and early WordPress 7 compatibility landed across the whole suite.

## What our customers built

The best part of this work is seeing what people do with it, and this year gave us plenty to point to.

[Princeton University's Department of Music](https://www.gravitykit.com/case-study/princeton-university/) replaced a sprawling Google Sheet that tracked roughly 400 students and 60 instructors. Using [GravityView](https://www.gravitykit.com/products/gravityview/) and [GravityImport](https://www.gravitykit.com/products/gravityimport/), they built a form-driven workflow, a faculty portal, and instrument-inventory tracking, all inside their own WordPress site.

They are in good company. A few more of the stories we published this year:

- [West Fork School District](https://www.gravitykit.com/case-study/west-fork-school-district/) – a K-12 district that built a full student enrollment system and an internal operations platform, complete with an applicant tracker and a Kanban onboarding board.
- [BrightLeaf Giving](https://www.gravitykit.com/case-study/brightleaf-giving/) – a nonprofit that built a private, one-to-one client messaging system inside its own WordPress dashboard.
- [Deja Vu Studio](https://www.gravitykit.com/case-study/deja-vu-studio/) – a WordPress consultancy that built a two-sided medical reporting system, letting a healthcare client's doctors submit surgery reports while the equipment manufacturer tracks models and servicing.

West Fork's assistant technology coordinator, Cory Robbins, put it this way:

> GravityKit has saved me countless hours of work, provided incalculable inspiration, and made a much higher quality of product the standard for our district tools. It has given me the ability to create tools that reshape the way we operate, without being required to spend months on custom builds.

There are [more customer stories](https://www.gravitykit.com/case-studies/) where those came from. If you have built something with GravityKit, we would love to hear about it!

## What's next

Expect more of what made this year work: deeper AI-native building, continued momentum on GravityView 3.0, and a steady flow of the improvements you ask for in support and on the roadmap. The best way to keep up is the [weekly Launch Log](https://www.gravitykit.com/tag/launch-log/), where every release gets written up as it ships.

## Thank you

Twelve years is a long time in WordPress, and we are still here because of the customers, the Gravity Forms team, and the wider community who trust our software. Thank you for building with us.

To celebrate, the [Lifetime All Access Pass is 30% off through July 28](https://www.gravitykit.com/birthday-sale/). One payment, every current and future GravityKit tool, no more renewals. Use the code `BIRTHDAY30` at checkout.
